Bio+Art: Puerto Rico
The bio+art A.I.R. program teamed a group of artists with a biologist from Harvard to work on-site in Puerto Rico creating installation art pieces. My goal with these pieces was to create works that were created completely from natural materials found at the location, and integrate the work into the natural habitat in a non-destructive way. The pieces are meant to draw the viewer in for close inspection, while positing the question, is this work a natural formation or manmade?
